Vasto: Vasto is a lovely hilltop town overlooking the Adriatic sea in southern Abruzzo. It has a lovely medieval centre and many beautiful buildings dating from the 15th century. Above the sea, on a hillside, Vasto has a charming medieval old centre whose centre is the marvellous Piazza Rossetti with the impressive Caldoresco Castle. After exploring the old centre head for the beach. It is about a 15 to 20 minutes walk downhill from the ancient centre of Vasto and is a welcome spot to cool off in the gorgeous turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. Further along the coast is the promontory of the 'Punta d'Erca also known as the Punta Aderci, a beautiful, unspoilt area of rocky coastline popular with divers. Termoli: Termoli is a town on the Adriatic coast of Italy, in the province of Campobasso, region of Molise. Once it was known only as a fishing port, but in the new millennium it is a favourite resort for Italian families. The old town has been well restored. It is a genuine walled community jutting out into the sea.
Perched on a small rocky promontory, directly overlooking the sea and surrounded by walls, the village has origins that date back to the 5th century B.C.. The Trabucchi are among the symbols that characterize the city of Termoli. To observe them in all their beauty, you can take the Promenade of the trabucchi which winds from the foot of the Swabian castle.

Pescara: The city of Pescara is Abruzzo's most populous and bustling center. It is situated on the Adriatic sea, but its climate is influenced by the surrounding mountains (the Maiella and the chain of Gran Sasso). With twenty kilometers of beaches stretching to the north and south of the city, there are plenty of clubs and restaurants along the way to keep things hopping, especially in the warmer months. Pescara is home to the July Jazz Festival, the first annual jazz festival to be established in Italy. There are regular concerts and events throughout the summer to attract visitors and locals alike.

Montedimezzo Reserve: Here you can admire "the precious miracles" of flora such as the major ash, the hazel and the cherry tree. You can also admire its variety of fauna: hares, wild boars, badgers, roe deer and martens. These splendid pearls of nature have earned their inclusion in the prestigious Unesco Mab program.
Isernia: A delightful region full of natural beauty with many of the little hilltop towns provide interesting days out. One small area in the south, close to the border of Campania, produces Buffalo Mozzarella and it is the only place outside the region of Campania with official permission to do this. Truffles are also found here and the white truffle of Molise is highly prized and accounts for 40% of the market. Notable landmarks include a Roman bridge, the cathedral (rebuilt after an earthquake in 1805), the Fraterna Fountain, and the civic museum.

Skiing: In Molise, you can look forward to a variety of ski slopes. Campitello Matese is renowned for its numerous and prestigious ski resorts which make it particularly sought after during the winter and boasts an altitude of 1,872 meters.
